Give a 60–90 second answer: your education, one or two relevant experiences (internship, project or training), and why you are interested in this job. Don’t repeat your whole CV.
Show that you have researched the company: mention its work, values or growth, and connect them to your skills and career goals.
Pick strengths that match the job and give a short example. For a weakness, choose a real but minor one and explain what you are doing to improve it.
Summarise in three points how your skills, attitude and willingness to learn match what the job needs.
Show ambition that fits the company: growing in the role, taking more responsibility and learning new skills.
Use the STAR method below: Situation, Task, Action, Result. Choose an example from college, an internship or a project.
Research the typical salary range for the role in Nepal beforehand. Give a reasonable range and say you are open to discussion.
As a fresher, talk about internships, college projects, volunteer work, trainings and part-time jobs, and what you learned from them.
Answer honestly. If you have limits, say so politely and explain how you can still contribute.
Always ask one or two questions, for example about training for new staff, the team you would join, or what success looks like in the first three months.
For “tell me about a time when…” questions, describe the Situation, your Task, the Action you took and the Result. It keeps your answer clear, short and convincing.
