Our Mason Course helps you build the skills to lay concrete blocks, bricks and stone as per International/National standards and job requirements.
The course takes a beginner through the fundamentals of masonry, whether you are starting out or already working on site, and gives you the chance to turn theory into practical skills you can use every day.
To lay blocks, bricks and stone well, you need good mason skills and up-to-date knowledge of materials, bonds and wall construction. This training is useful for work in both Nepal and abroad.
Block masons, brick masons and stone masons are needed in almost every type of construction, in new buildings as well as existing ones.
NMSPL is affiliated with CTEVT and is an ASTC (Accredited Skill Test Center) of NSTB (National Skill Testing Board) for Mason L1 & L2, and the certificate provided by us is accepted for appearing in the NSTB Skill Test.
For the Mason course, we provide the required training materials for the theory part of the course as well as a free practical kit for the practical tasks.
We have a dedicated examination centre where you take your exams, and our practical training stations are equipped with all the tools and consumables you need for masonry work.
Our trainers guide you throughout the course, clarifying concepts and doubts with assignments and demonstrations wherever needed.
Candidates who can read and write in Nepali or English and are interested in learning can take this course. Class 8 or above is ideal.
The course is designed for people aged 18 to 45 in good health who can do basic maths calculations.
As we have classes always going on, a person with interest can join in 2 days’ time, meaning they can take admission on one day and start class from the next day.
The mason course takes place at our training centre in Machhapokhari, Balaju, Kathmandu. It is easily accessible by road, just 20 seconds from Machhapokhari Chowk and adjacent to Naya Bus Park, Gongabu.
